Position:Urban Outreach Specialist
Location: NNCIL Sparks, NV
Salary: $13.00/hour; 32 hours per week
Specifics: Reporting directly to the NNCIL Executive Director in the Sparks office, this position will be responsible in developing strategies, coordinate and structure urban outreach activities focusing on the unserved and underserved individuals with disabilities regardless of age, race and gender, who reside in the areas of Washoe County, Reno, Sparks, Carson City and Douglas County.
This position will promote awareness of the four fundamental Core Services of NNCIL such as: Information and referral, advocacy, peer support and life skills training. The Urban Outreach Specialist will also be expected to develop measures to evaluate and track the effectiveness of each outreach activity. This porition will require approximately 30% instate travel. The chosen applicant will be required to have transportation, a current Nevada Drivers License and a clean driving record.

Location: NNCIL Elko, NV
Salary: $13.00/hour; 32 hours per week
Specifics: Reporting directly to the NNCIL Rural Director in the Elko office, this position will be responsible in developing strategies, coordinate and structure rural outreach activities focusing on the unserved and underserved individuals with disabilities regardless of age, race and gender, who reside in the counties of Churchill, Lyon, Mineral, Douglas, Nye, Pershing, Storey, Humboldt, Esmeralda, Elko, White Pine, Lincoln, Eureka and Lander.
This position will promote awareness of the four fundamental Core Services of NNCIL such as: Information and referral, advocacy, peer support and life skills training. The Rural Outreach Specialist will also be expected to develop measures to evaluate and track the effectiveness of each outreach activity. This porition will require approximately 45% instate travel. The chosen applicant will be required to have transportation, a current Nevada Drivers License and a clean driving record.
